Carmen and Tom Kitchen Remodel

Carmen and Tom had an outdated 1980’s kitchen and were ready for an update. The room was small and somewhat cramped feeling. They chose to open up between the den and kitchen. They also took in the old small dining room as part of the new kitchen space. The formal living room is now the dining room. The have a large family and enjoy cooking and entertaining, so as much seating as possible was created in 3 different locations. Near the cooking area people can sit and watch a skilled cook at work. Others can watch TV at the bar adjoining the den. There is also the large dining table in the new dining room where a group can gather. What was small, dark, and cramped is now open, bright, and cheerful. Creating a place for great food and visiting was the goal and was well achieved.
